could anyonetell me if there is a point to personallity chips... at least if i should keep the ones i loot from a pirate cave on loc?

it just says droid personality chip, nothing else

i was wondering if they gave some kind of bonus to the droid or something

To answer your original question, I wouldn't have a clue if they are worth anything or do anything special. I've never seen a looted personality chip, and this is the first I've seen about them on these boards.

I'd suggest finding a MDE on your server and let them examine it to see if it does anything, or maybe they would be willing to buy it off of you.

When did this stuff start dropping I have all my guild buddies looking for anything droid related, attachments or anything. Hmm might have to have my guild schedule a hunt in the Pirate Cave this weekend.

Anything else droid releated drop in this cave?

its not even a drop there are 3-4 (not sure on the numbers) of wrecked droids that have personallity chips in em... to get back there you need to crack the code (trivia stuff). I think there is a couple locked containers aswell but im not sure.

If your on scylla the cave is about 1k-1.5k away from fort veers (i dont remember the coords off hand and its not a POI )

If you have a non neg pirate fraction standing you can justwalk right in there and not even fight anything.

my guess is that its useless just like the other loot drops that have the same name as a real crafting component but which don't actually work for anything (e.g., the power core loot drop). but I might be wrong.
