I know this sounds lame but, did you call the droid before you crafted? Sorry, but you'd be suprised...

As far as I know, the droid just needs to be called to be able to experiment. If it's not working, try logging. If nothing, contact the DE that sold you the droid and work something out. Also, check to see if the thing needs a recharge...you remembered the batteries, right? lol

try tossing in a new battery. Hopefully that'll clear it up for you.

I assume the droid has a crafting station in it? And that you are using a crafting tool of the same type as the crafting station? You never actually said, so I thought I'd ask and make sure.

you can always see if your droid is low on power by giving it a command and see if it flashes *low power* above its head.

Craft stations still function even when the droid is out of juice.Trying to use a medical moduleWILL NOT work if the droid runs out of juice.

The usual problem when a craft station does not work is due to standing too close to a stationary crafting station. I haven't experienced this myself, but it has been posted as a problem.

I use my droid to craft all the time and have never recharged him (heh, a DE that never seems to carry any batteries).
