Thread: Droid customatization and labeling?
Also what do you do about droid labeling - no matter what modules I put in one its still called just R2, Advanced - now I'm destroying them since I have no clue whats in them (I lebel them now when I make them) but with old ones I'm stuck... I could tame them when I free up a slot (have 5 now) but I can still only figure out Med capability (about only thing actually that shows when you Examine), the type of crafting station other than Wep/Droid I have no way of telling...)?

Is it me or do my droids have different color every time I pull it? So if I train up customatization - I can color them and that color will stick?
Customization will only effect what colors you can "color" the droid chassis you make. When you "tame" a droid, it will come out in its default color. In the case of Astromechs (R-series), the default color is "random". The only way to get color to stick to a droid is to use a droid customization tool.

I had this problem myself when I started.
Basically, you're out of luck. There's no way to tell what is in a droid other than item storage and medical rating (and I think data storage, but it's been so long since I've made one) by examining the deed. I ended up destroying a bunch of deeds this way, and since have put the modules in the deed name.
