Thread: Treadwell chassis
I dont believe they ever had a chassis component, which is what you need to display them in a house. What you saw was probably a vendor TreadWell, might have been for display and been named WED TreadWell. This is issue effects several droids as well as the coloring abilities of the Protocol Droids. My theory as to why you cant have display models of certain droids is the DEV's anticapated the fact that people would name their droid the same as their competitors vendor and have it stay right beside it. Same with the protocol droid, if we could paint them you see fifteen of them standing around every ticket collector. Every droid that does not have a display chassis can be seen elsewhere in the game as a vendor or ticket collector.

Err, no the chassis cannot be dropped because it doesn't exist. No, it was never possible. Yes, you haven't seen it recently because it never was.
I believe you saw theVendor of the droid variety that was a treadwell. Same goes for the EG-6 Power droid and any protocol droids you see that are pink as well as Robo bartenders. Surgical 2-1Bs are also vendor types.
