Thread: Droid experimentation Newbie question.
- crafting modules: some say a higher rating makes a difference
- combining modules: if you are combining 2 lower level modules instead of using a level 6 module, experimentation matters
- the final assembly of a probot: you can increase the ham and attack capabilities in a small way by experimenting
- droid storage compartments: experiment on these when they are being used by an architect who is making crafting stations

putting two well experimented modules together definatley works, i just got 110 medical rating from 2xlevel 3 medical modules in an advanced R5and im only 2-2-0-2. Im so happy

Currently it is true that experimentation does not matter for almost everything droid related. Here are the exceptions I've found:
- crafting modules: some say a higher rating makes a difference
- combining modules: if you are combining 2 lower level modules instead of using a level 6 module, experimentation matters
- the final assembly of a probot: you can increase the ham and attack capabilities in a small way by experimenting
- droid storage compartments: experiment on these when they are being used by an architect who is making crafting stations

regarding crafting modules: some say it matters, but there is no solid evidence that it does
regarding combining the level based modules: experimentation only matters when combining modules of level 3 or lower. at 4 and above the modules are already so close to the maximum without experimentation, that combining them always give you the maximum whether you experiment or not.
regarding the probot: you can increase the HAM as it appears in the deed by experimenting, but the actual droid ends up having the unexperimented HAM anyway. I've never seen the attack abilities change because of experimentation, but maybe it does have an effect.
regarding droid storage compartments: experimentation is very important on these if you are providing them to an architect. that is definitely correct.
Then, as I said in another thread, this should all be tempered with the realization that the next two publishes are going to have a lot of droid engineering bug fixes, and everything we know about how experimentation works now is likely to be no longer true soon.

I've found that the HAM andattackcapabilities dochangebased on final experimentation. I should add that I only make Advanced Probots now, so I'm not sure if it also works with standard Probots. For instance, I just made 2 Advanced Probots, one I experimented on and one I didn't. AFTER TAMING, I see the following:
Probot 1 (not experimented):
- HAM: 819
- Attack Speed: 2.45
- To hit: .21
- Damage:60 - 80 (69 - 85)
Probot 2 (final assembly experimented to 86%):
- HAM: 826
- Attack Speed: 2.4
- To Hit: .22
- Damage: 70 - 80 (71 - 87)

This is an illusion. The damage rating is correct, but pull out that 826 HAM probot and hover your cursor over the HAM bars in the upper right corner and see what it says. Probots are either 815 HAM (less than 820 experimented) or 820 HAM (820+ experimented ) no matter how much you experiment them at present. The deed says one thing, but in reality they are all the same.

Very interesting. You are right. The HAM, when hovering over the bars,is 810 (not 815) on the unexperimented Probot, and 820 on the experimented one. Thanks for clarifying.
