Thread: Just to clear the air, a poll.
May I suggest you add a few more choices?
c: DE can use any droid - perhaps not as well as the class the battle droid was intended for?(I have seen it more eloquently worded on other threads).
As long as we're talking about a one-profession audience we're talking too danged small. This is true even if that one profession is my own.
So whats the point?

The reason I limited it to these two choices is that I think this is the poll we should have had a long time ago. We are quite an imaginative group and every poll gets lots and lots of added choices. I'm of the opinion that right now, we will be getting one of these choices. The devs will either make the new DH profession, or give it to us. They won't put in the time and effort for a certification system. They want it short and simple so they can move on. These two choices are where the rubber meets the road. Do we want to be a crafter only profession, or a combat/crafter profession? My hope is that we can avoid the DH profession by deciding to take combat droids into our profession.
Given a choice between the two, which would you choose?

Rho, I agree. The thing we need to keep in mind is that this will simply be an enhancement to our profession either way. We will still have our existing droids and our existing customers. The only financial loss we see here is the potential new business revenue from everyone being able to use our droids. That's not going to happen. We all want it, and the other players all want it, but the devs aren't going to spend the time and effort for it. This game is designed by the same people who brought you the holo-grinding path to jedi.
