No, we DEs know quite well where that decision came down from...
Drashk is very much caught ina very bad place, and difficult time, in DE-land. I don't envy him. I hope that he has the veracity to stand up as the voice of what the profession puts forth. He's our collective voice TO the web (as well as our voice back FROM the Devs, when they let him speak, of course).
also about most other ideas have been ranted down, so the best that is left is DH, and Devs hopefully stop listening to this forum before anything gets worser, they should have from day1.
Hmmm....so, the best solution, in this case is build the droid plan that is the MOST opposite from what MOST of the DEs state that they want? I see how that would equate to fixing the DE profession or making it better. That's what this whole Droid Invasion was supposed to be geared toward....you do understand that, right? This has NEVER been about adding a DH profession. It was supposed to be about fixing (and making better) the DE profession.
Collectively, Devs and us...we can't even seem to get that right, for a variety of reasons.
combat droids for DEs would be better but if the community (who is against everything) have caused devs to listen to them it is not longer possible.
Youstate that we are against "everything". However, I've seen a ton ofsuggested ideas and methods on how to move forward and NOT have DH. Or to roll DH into DE. Or whatever.
Just NOT a new DH profession. I think they are still pondering how to work out this quagmire, personally...reassessing what they thought theyknew. That's what this weekends droid information gathering (round 72, for those playing the home game)is supposed to be all about.
devs dont like to be fooled around. they will only hate us for crying no to their ideas and later crying no to their new ideas and wanting the old ones again and when they get back to the old one crying again about those... thats one reason why devs are unlikly to listen to the community and i can understand them, they will get nowhere if listening to us.
You make the assumption here that they DO listen.
Example: TH's misstatement about the DEs being "very clear" about what they want should show you that the "listening" you state they are doing was very clearly not taking place.

I agree with you, but it seems the battle is being lost here, not least because our own correspondant want's you to have to master another profession to be able to do that.
