Okay, so DH is coming. I know there are a lot of people who aren't exactly happy with it (I'll throw my hat into that ring as well) but until we hear otherwise, this is the way of the world. In light of this, I think we need to start thinking about things that need to be changed/improved in our slice of the world to help make life easier on us, and on the future DH's. I know I might be re-stating some things that might have already been said, but here goes:

  1. Rename "Tame" on a deed/droid. Please. We know droids are just critters to the game system, but you don't have to rub it in :-)

  2. Get rid of Deeds. BE's craft critters, not critter deeds, why can't we craft Droids? I know this is mainly semantics from a players point of view, but it would allow us to more easily show customers what they're getting, and give us something to drop in a house to be used as a display model (other than a droid frame, as not all droids have frames).

  3. DE's should have the ability to see stats on a droid. Similar to how a Scout can seethe stats, resists, ham, etc on a critter. This change would only apply to droids and droid like things (AT-ST, "wild droids", etc), and this ability should also possibly be removed from Scout. (ie - a Master Scout could see the resits/ham/stats etc ona wrix for example, but shouldn't necessarily know how stronga Probot is.)

  4. Improve/Fix info on the examine window of a Droid/Deed

    • Deeds don't show all the modules installed (crafting modules don't showup for example)

    • Deeds should reflect the "actuals" of a droids ability (not say storage rating 16 when the droid can only hold 10 items for example)

    • Deeds don't show combat stats (if any)

    • "Tamed" droids don't show who their creator was

  5. DroidRepair Issues

    • Let us fix our droids! give us Droid Patch Kits (stims), Repair Packs (wound kits), Overhall Tools (vitality packs).

    • Let a droid with a repair module actually be able to stim other droids in the field, but restrict repairs (wound fixes) to a town or camp site.

  6. Power Issues. Yes, some droids do need recharging, but give us more/better ways of doing it.

    • Let the Architect build a "Droid Charging Station" that can be placed in homes/structures to allow a droid to recharge there.

    • Power Droids Shouldn't need Batteries.

    • Small Droids (mouse, DZ, treadwel) should still require batteries/charging

    • Medium/large droids (probot, BLL, R seriesfor example)should be able to take a small power core as an optional component to prevent battery needs. Power Cores aren't cheap, you don't want to need batteries, you have to pay for it.

    • Larger droids and combat droids should require a small or normal power core, and not need batteries.

I think these changes would be a great benefit to us, and will make life easier on DH's and normal droid users. If anyone else has any suggestions, I'd appreciate it if you posted them as well.
