as i have come to understand reading posts on various forums, combat droids in our current time of starwars have been banned however there are illegal factions such as Nym's and the Droid engineer who lives in his cave , these two people/factions still seem to have a hold on combat system droids in this day and age which brings me a thought.

the discussions of certifications for droids made by droid engineers after a certain level or master or something are vast and generally the same with everyone ignoring the history and time line.

however, if say a smuggler was to buy a schematic from one of the two factions (or more) and sold and had one use only which would be uploaded to the datapad and could not be made into a transferable factory schematic.

the smuggler would have to gain faction with nym or any of the other counterparts like you would with rebels and imperials and attain the blueprints that way so that droid engineers could produce the droids for the masses of people who have attained the proffesion title for the high class droids/combat droids which also happen to be illegal.

this would bring more cash flow to the smugglers, droid engineers, and provide every one with the droids they so want and would keep inline with the current time of star wars.

any one to add to this would be greatly appreciated or anyone to point out errors also...

its an idea and keeps to the time era and gives every one what theyre after whilst keeping dev team happy

Which ones the insane one, the man in the mental institution offering 1million dollars to the normal man or the normal man refusing the offer..
