Thread: Verify Armor Ratings on Droids

How do you know what the armor rating is? I put a single armor mod in a droid that takes 2, but I don't know that the armor is there? Is there a way to verify it?

Thanks!

Dear Epak,

Call your droid from the datapad, click it and select the "Examine" option. The armor rating and effectiveness will be displayed in the examine window.

Kindest regardsm

Karlie.

I think what threw me off was that I could see that on the probots, but not on the R2 or R3 droids. Even though they have the armor slot, they don't get armor.

I'm assuming astromechs and protocol droids cannot have armor. Only the probot to my knowledge works.

I have a Probot, ADV R3, and ADV Power Droid that all have medium armour, 40% resists across the board... It works on more than just Probots. If you examine the droid when it is called, you should see it.

If you have armor on an Adv R3, then my other post about modules dropping is true. Either because of a bug in general or just for me. I don't know...

All I know is that I've made plenty of droids with armor modules and have only seen them show up in the probots I make. I'm a master DE and armorsmith using the composite armor segments to make level 6 droid armor modules. I only put one level 6 into a droid. I've also tried putting 2 level 3 armor mods, but again, the armor is ALWAYS dropped if its not a probot.

Is it possible that I'm bugged and can't make armor on these droids... I guess I should log a CSR ticket.

Thanks for the input
