Last night I ran into a friendly Architect and sold him a "Droid Storage Module" for 2000c (with 1000 uses)...it used his own resources of course, but did I get ripped off? I was being nice cause I got some crafting stations, houses, and factories for cheaper than they usually are.
I'm brand new to the Droid Engineer profession. Can anyone give me some price tips?
Or should I read some FAQs? Thanks for your time.

I tend to base my prices on the resources, and number of sub components used. So I havnt tried to think what a schematic should cost. The rare times I get asked to make them I just do it as a favor.
I seem to charge less than many do for things. I guess I recomend 3-5 credits/resource, and 100-200 credits per sub component (in addition to the resource cost.) This is my range, and I have been selling on the lower end of that range recently. The prices I see are mostly higher than that but, I do see better prices too some times. (not often)
Architects have such vast resource amounts that the sub component cost is negligable. But I include them in My Droid sales because they do represent 'labor' in all the futzing to make and store them. And do cost somthing themselves in factory enedrgy and maintenance ( I havent bothered to calculate this actual cost. But I presume, its less than 100c each.)

The last few times I've been asked for schematics, I've offered to make them for free as a professional courtesy. I simply ask for enough of the resources in question to craft five items (as insurance against critical failures) and whip the thing up.

I would probably do it for free also. I think 2000 credits is fair though.

I've been tipped 5K more than once for doing this, so in a sense it's MORE profitable not to charge, than it is to charge 2K!

Bah. Never accept a battleplan that relies on assuming the enemy will bedoing something they are supposed to.

Actually, I don't have any real advice on this matter. Carry on ![]()

100 cr x Complexity of Item =a good price scheme. This is after experimentation.

25 99% droid storage compartments = 10k
I just tell the archs to go buy then off my vendor because with that 10k they now can make 500k.
