I see alot of complaining about who said what to the devs. And frankly it just doesnt make sense to me. Before the devs came to us, they had already made up their minds to turn DE into a BE/CH situation. And now with so many people pointing fingers we cant even fight back for what is right.

I understand not wanting DE to be a hybrid class. Its not supposed to be, but what droids are all about is inclusion. Everyone, regardless of job, should be able to use a droid no matter what it is. I know for a fact that as far as continuity goes, that is the case.

Now for those of you that support the DH/DM/DC (of the names I prefer Droid Commander), I hope you realize that it will only limit our market and make sales difficult for the most useful droids that we will ever be able to make. And while I'm happy they are finally giving our broken, gimped, and nerfed class alittle love, they are doing it the wrong way.

As someone else mentioned in another thread. I remember the days when probots were good tanks for people that didnt want the CH class. Now droids are a joke, and it should never have been that way. CH are far too powerful and they ruin continuity. However if they made all combat droids available to everyone, and made it so that the best combat droids were CL45 or CL50. Then we could all get along. Even a CH could use their uber pet and a good droid to live through the hostile environs of Endor.

Seriously guys, if we dont stop fighting with each other, the devs will just continue to screw us. And since they dont even have the common decency to give us a reach around, I dont want to get screwed anymore.

Fight the real problem.

I believe you are right Shadowduke. I have given up caring if we do get a New Droid profession or changes to ours. We are not unified, to the affect it is killing OUR proffession.

Well said. However, I think united we'll still fall. I don't have much hope of escaping the DH profession.

Good post but reality is they will keep screwing us wether we are unified or not, history show us that from the last 5 months.

Also what we call screwing they consider a gift, because it is content and change no matter how pitiful it is.

The real problem with the entire system is that lay this false claim that they want your input and will use it when the time comes to better the game.

When the way it really works is they have there vision they develop it they throw it out and see if it works, They go to the extreme on everything they do so they can then come back give back one tenth of what they took and prance around like they gave you somthing.

But in fariness to SOE, its there game, there risk, there stock holders, You have the choice to play or not.

I have never had a problem with them doing it the way they see fit, my problem is with them telling everyone on these boards that there opinions matter. When time and time again they ignore them.

The corospondants are nothing more then a becon to continue the pharse that you are being heard.

But everyone has to walk before they run, maybe before they lose to many people they will learn from there mistakes and move on.
