• Combat Droids are supposed to be illegal in this time frame, right? Let's add them to the list of "contraband" in the new "Imperial Crackdown".


• Also, I want to start getting missions to destroy "thugs" and their illegal droids. These can be variable level missions given by either the standard mission terminals or Imperial terminals only. This could consist of 1-2 "thugs" and 1-3 different combat droids.


• There are several types of pets that creatures handlers can train, right? I want 10-20 different types of combat droid chassis. Let's give these new Droid Handlers lots of variety to choose from.


• Droids are semi-autonomous, right? I want to see old 3PO get mad as &^$%# and decide he's not gonna take it anymore! Let's have bands of aggro droids showing up on the map.


• Everyone need to vent sometimes. Let's give combat droids a "sparring" mode. This will let you put your droid into a mode where it will attack you (deathblow optional) but, of course, you don't get any combat XP for it.


• Let's give combat droids a "guard mode". Tired of those aggro mobs trapping you inside your house or keeping you from your harvester? Give a combat droid to a DH and have him put him in this mode. It will basically act like a static spawn and will attack any aggros that spawn within his range.


• I want to start seeing rebel troops spawns start having droids with them. Combat droids are illegal, right? And they are rebels, right?


• There should be a big market in hot droids. If I get deathblowed in a fight with Jabba's folks or Jawas and have my droid out, let's give them a chance to put the old restraining bolt on my droid and cart it off.We need some repeat business!

These are just some ideas for the "Droid Invasion". If we're going to have an invasion, let's have a real invasion! I want the deserts of Tatooine littered with droid parts (that I can recover, of course) and to see droid guards in the palace on Theed!

The jawas sound fun though.

Only one I don't like is the 4th one, but I REALLY like that last one.

So maybe 3PO is a little too far. Maybe a band of rogue IG-88s that get tanked up on droid lube and decide to raise a little **&$ would be a better analogy!

Wasn't there a protocol droid in one of the movies that got fed up and became a bounty hunter?

That really opens the door for some new and exciting content.

Bounty Hunters details 4-LOM, partner of the Gand Zuckuss who gets a whopping like .5 seconds of screen time in Empire. Backstory is that Zuckuss was a protocol droid who started basically learning how to steal as a matter of protecting his clients a bit TOO well, and then one day deciding they weren't careful enough with it and keeping it for himself. He would learn anything he put his mind to and for this story he decides he wants to learn Zuckuss' intuition, which is why they've been partners as long as they have.

LOL I loved all of it! I would love to see a droid swooper gang of protocol droids kicking butt! I could sell tickets to something like that!
