I'm a very very new novice droid engineer and I tryed to construct a normal mse mouse droid with an entertainer modual.
All goes well except I can't seem to test it.
Am I right in thinking that only a performer can use these?
If so great, well how can I test it to know that I'm actually selling something of any worth to them =|
Why as a droid engineer can I not use all the droid functions? Kinda takes the fun out of making them.
btw i just mean use them to see the visual effects not to recieve any buffs or what ever character modifiers they do.
Any advice would be appreciated

You have to be a novice dancer or musician to use the effects modules. Yea the fact that we can't test them is kinda rediculous.

And the visual effect module does nothing else than look cool. No modifiers.
I actually did Novice musician to test the effect, smuggler to test the boom droid and merchant to test the barker.
A friend of mine is ranger, so he tested harvester/trapping.
But yeah, as DE we're one of the most limited in use of droids. Mainly because of the all diferent skill required for different modules, but also because of the huger skill point cost.

damn was afraid of that.
Looks like a profitable profession but yeah they kinda took the fun element out of it right there.

My feeling has basically always been that if I built it, I should be able to use it.
