Thread: Few questions regarding DE, please help! (/beg)

well, im back, some of you might remember me from a while back when i asked for help.
i took your advice and made some droids and now i have some specific questions instead of just a general plea for help.
pls no flaming like last time, and thanks in advance for all your help!!!
1) other than droid mods, on what components does experimenting actually do something? (i noticed some components have no stats)
2) what mod increases damage delt (inables combat)?
3) what is the current max armor/resist now? (before i had seen light armor 40% resist bots, but i can only get no armor 20% resist, and i use advanced comp segs in my armor mods)
4) what is the name of the self healing mod? (i tried the droid repair mod, but it was for repairing other droids, not auto regen)
5) what is the avarage power of a demo droid you have gotten?

1 combat units do but think on most its the final construction of the droid when it matters the most.
2 thats just the rating of the combat module used, dz70 can attack with no module but only does 1 pt damage.
3 pretty sure its 20% dont waste time putting two lv6 armourmods in a droidit shows40% but isnt.
4 auto repair module, which you have to turn on and uses lot power im told.
5demolition droid ?

also harvesting, detenation, and stim modules matter for experimentation

The more you experiment on your combat modules nd the better resources you use, the higher the combat rating and thus more damage

The max armor is AR0 %20 resists. There is a display bug that will show %40 after the droid is initially called but this is only display. The max can be reached with two level 4 armor mods or 1 level 6. Putting two L6 mods in a droid is a waste. Using good resources or experimenting on the comp segments is also a waste of time.4) what is the name of the self healing mod? For experimentation, here are some:
Final build of the droid (HAM)
Detonation (higher, max of 10 per module)
Interplanetary Survey Droid (You can get higher charges or faster report time)
Repair Module
Harvest Module
Stimpack-A Module
Combat Module
Customization Kits (more charges)
Batteries (higher charges)
Trapping Modules

Mainly the combat modules. Nothing else.
However, it will also depend on what chassis you use.
The Probot will be your best bet for the most damage output compared to the LE Repair/R3.
3) what is the current max armor/resist now? (before i had seen light armor 40% resist bots, but i can only get no armor 20% resist, and i use advanced comp segs in my armor mods)
The current armour is limited to 20% with AR0.No Armour rating. No special resists.
4) what is the name of the self healing mod? (i tried the droid repair mod, but it was for repairing other droids, not auto regen)
I think it was the auto-repair module.
5) what is the avarage power of a demo droid you have gotten?
The highest I have gotten was 38 (2 modules, in a MSE Droid... MSE's get a +10 DP bonus per module).

continuation on theexperimentaion question.
what about components like droid brains, discharge units and the such, does experimenting actually do anything for those?

Nope, experimentation and resource quality does nod matter for most of those kinds of components. Most notably the Artisan components like EGPMs and EMMs etc... And sorry about completely misreading your first question above, DOH.

how many of which medical useage mod does it take to max out?
how many of which item storage mod does it take to max out?
how many of whichdata storage mod does it take to max out?
