They can be called to recharge other droids nearby, its a good way of making cash if your desparate, rechargign other peoples droids outside a starport for example, but they eat batteries.

Ha, good one! Seriously though, I would check out the links at the top of the DE Forum, there is one to Droid Configurator, just try putting a droid together and it shows you what each module allows, very nice. http://www.undeadfish.com/droids.php

4) is there a place where i can see what mixture of mods will work inwhat chassis?

Other Vendors. Most modules work in any chassis, again there are some that cannot take combat modules (power droid for example), some that cant take repair modules (power droid again), but check the links at the top of the forum, there are some really great guides in there, especially Ackis' guide, they are a top source for help.

sorry about all the newbie ?'s but i am the only de in my guild and they are screaming for droids lol and i need help fast.

No problem, I was in exactly the same position about a month ago, and rthese forums have been immensely helpful. Ask any questions you like, and these guys will help.

All they do is pay maint, they DO NOT deposit power. They work fine, you just need to remove a structure from the droid before deleting the structure. Only level 3's will go to any planet.
