Droid Engineer Archive

I am currently sitting at novice WS and novice Droid, though droids interest me more than WS, there doesn'teem to be alot one can use them for other than storage/crafting or a very low combat backup...

My question is....isthere a future for DE's?? will there be a new uber combat droid up and coming vs a tedious probot or is this where droids will stand, nothing more than a barbie doll to dress up and parade around the universe???

I don't mean to sound negative, maybe just uneducated when it comes to droid usage but this is my take on them so far.
