Heh... Just wait until you hand craft all your sub components and then crit fail on the deed and get to start over again!

It gets easier...well, that's a lie; it doesn't. I can make about 5 droids in an hour and that's with a few factory parts. Let me let you in on what helps me keep my sanity:
1. Have at least 3 factories. They don't all need to be down at a time, but be ready to fill orders for the droid storage compartments. You want to alway be able to mass produce the sub componants.
2. Keep factory crates of basic subs handy. Make runs of EMM and EGP cards, d. brains, sensors, motivators, and manipulator arms. This will speed up your build time immensely.
3. Use harvestors. It's cheaper than travel costs + time + buying at 3cpu or more at vendors. Set your harvestors and let them run for a few days. Stockpile the resources you usually use now to save time in the future.
4. Write down needed parts and resource amounts per droid. Use a small notebook and jot down the needed parts and such. It saves time looking through that than switching back and forth to the schem when you've forgotten to make a part or are making them in order. A sort of recipe book; when I want to make a droid, I consult that book and make the ingredients right down the line.

Biggest problem I have is calculating how many components to make for full factory production. Take an Advanced probot... he requires Advanced Droid Motive Systems... those require a control unit... argh, forget what else, but something else requires a control unit... So that's 2 per droid... I wanna make 50 probots, so I need materials for 100 control units... wrong... At least 101, the extra 1 to cover the schematic build... well, the one control unit is a sub component of something else, so I need 50 of the bigger component, wrong 51 (for schematic) which means I need 51 control units for that, 51 for the other, so now we're up to 102 control units total, which means we need 103 in reality for the schematic also... This gets nightmarish when trying to figure up GP modules and memory modules (especially when some components require factory modules and some don't, which i use allf actory anyway)... So I quickly learned to not count, just make a bunch of everything... When it's all said and done, piece together your scraps into whatever droid you can fit it into, or simply store em later for custom droids... but first time i tried to figure it all out for my advanced R2's, i had massive headache.
