Wouldn't it be cool if...
Artoo-Units could detect incoming hostiles
Droids could be sent on missions to deliver messages or items
Droids could counterpart
Repair droids could fix vehicles
Binary Load Lifters could move houses without having to empty them first
Slicers could hack enemy droids
Probots could keep up with you while in a speeder
Droid detectors really did stop droids coming in the door
Droids used out in the wild got dusty and rusty and required oil baths
Could interface with mission terminals and transmit missions out to people in the field
Languages didn't take 3 seconds to teach and protocol droids could translate
Cos I think it'd make the game far more Star Wars like and make droids really cool.
Plush all of drashk's ideas. he rocks.
