in an effort to make the game more 'star warsie' with lil tweaks in the static game towns like coronet, bestine, or wherever.... why cant player towns get a way to help achive this feel. would be nice to see a droid or two [or more] roaming around player towns actually moving. yes i know you can get droid chasis's and place them in homes and such and they 'fidget' but thats only a partial feel for them. how about making a droid customization that you can make the be placed in a structure, or in a town [maybe group it with decorations under politician] and you can set it to patrol an area or perform some minor tasks.

examples - the droid could be placed in a house next to some terminal and set to stationary, but with the added animation of the laser torch, then you simply target the item the torch is to aim at and the droid could then turn towards that object and do the animation [if not target, then you just rotate it to aim manualy]

or you set it to patrol, could have 2 patrol sets, circular or line. circular would mean when it gets to last patrol point it goes back to point 1 and keeps looping obviously. line would mean when gets to last point, it would turn around and backtrack to patrol point 1. you could then have droids moving around inside homes or outside placed by politicians.

this would be a nice addition to both proffessions and make player towns feel even more like thier static game counterparts.

I usually keep my BLL or my protocol patrolling around Mos Nox when I logoff

Other times I set it to go from the shuttleport to my shop lol

Do a droid not auto-store when you log off? How long does it stay out patrolling? And does it become attackable ever?

Um I guess I have to confess that I shot up a R4 droid that was roaming a city. It didn't have a registered master I think, I hope I didnt ruin someones day
