Thread: My 2 cent on publish 7

First, when I start playing this game, I wanted to be a DE, that was a few months ago.
I hate grinding, so I didn't grind during the artisan part, and sold almost every item I made.
I reached Novice DE, and there, I realised I had to grind because at novice, you can do nothing.
Finaly I was able to do nice and usefull droid, but, was only able to sell medic droid because, well, no one want a 1 item storage droid, no one buy a droid named weapon & droid crafting station because when he looks at the description it show nothing.
At this stage, I was getting upset because, it seems that to do anything usefull as a DE, you have to grind alot, become a master, and hope people will have interest in droids.
Droid invasion was announced, so I put an hold on DE, and waited to see what's coming.
Now the droid invasion is launch, I go and connect and watch at my skill tree.
Conclusion : more grinding, more component, less use.
As people want to be constructive here, I'll just put the improvement I propose :
1) when dev have to select in which skill box put something, please, stop using the get drunk and play dart procedure, it ain't working.(the DE skill tree is the more dumb I've seen so far).
2) For droid customisation, I suggest add an option to put stickers on them. I have some stickers idea that might be interesting like "I'm with stupid", "Made in paper", "this side up", that sort of things.
I want to add one thing : while waiting for the so called Droid invasion, I raised my unarmed skill to go to novice TKA, even if leveling unarmed is really boring, it is nothing compared to DE, and, when becoming a novice TKA, it's an accomplishment that give reward. As novice TKA, I have something added to my character that is fun and usefull, definitively not the case with DE.
I hope publish 8 will make any good for DE, but after I saw that publish 7 was named Droid Invasion, and what was in it, I do have serious doubt about that.
