i am sorry if this idea has come up before, this is my first ever post here in the DE forum. i DID look about for a while before posting but did not see anything that looked like what i am thinking.
i was thinking that perhaps something like a small 'salvage droid' or even a 'salvage module' coud be created. it's soul purpose would be to loot courpses. you could program the droid to /loot your selected target. it would have a little bit armor, no combat abilities and the max 10 item storage. once full you would just open the droid's storage and take the items and credits out. it would follow all the other rules of grouping with a droid including having the chance of being attacked by an aggro mob.
personally i think these things would sell like CRAZY. i know i would buy at LEAST 2 for every character i have (all 8 of them...yes 8 characters a main and an alt on 4 servers). they would be HUGELY popular with ranged professions, and i emagine that even melee fighters might use them so they could just run from one oppenent to the next without having to stop to loot. then just send the salvage droid in afterwards.
it is just a thought, and probably not an original one, but i thought i would share it anyway
