Thread: Sudden demand for Medic droids on Gorath

For some reason, in the last 2 weeks, demand for droids with medical modules has gone through the roof on Gorath . It has gotten so bad that while I'm trying to craft new medic droids I am getting tells asking for medic droids. I cant figure out the sudden increase in demand.
Last night I tried 2 new combos. An R3 with 3 Combat mods, Med 110% mod, Food/Chem crafting mod and 10 Item storage. And an R2 with 3 Combat mods, Med 110% mod, and Food/Chem crafting mod. I only put 3 of each on vendor, wish I had made more. Sold all of them. Made 5 more of each today I'm pretty sure they will sell out tonight as well.
Has anyone else seen a sudden increase in demand for droids with medical modules? I even get pleas for cheap mouse droids with them.

I get a bunch of requests for them whenever I'm in crowded areas.....usually they dont really even know what they want besides something with a med module in it(half the time they dont even know what they do)......your best bet is probly to reccomend they get something like a surg droid with a food/chem station and a lvl 6 module(unless they think it could need to withstand damage...then probly an adv r4 or normal r2)....and pricing, dont worry about it(charge whatever you feel is fair and can sustain your business), the de market might as well be a bunch of separate monopolies for all the impact I've seen pricing have lol

Apossible explanation is this ( I have sold some as well.)
Right now Combat Medic is a pretty broken profession in PVP, probably the most powerfull one, especially against groups of people.
To counter this, many PVPers are taking Master Doc, so they can cure poisen and disease on themselves. Now obviously, they will want to buff themselves. This means they will needa Droid.
Not saying this is the reason, but it may be a possibility.
