I've been messing around with the idea of pursuing a musician career for a while, and I was wondering about the use of droids for entertainment purposes. For example, I found one for sale at a private vendor with the following functions: Foam, Electric Fog, Confetti, Dancing Jawa, and Avian. What do all those do and how do they work? Are there others? Can they help with Music experience or buffs? Are they triggered automatically while you play or do you have to trigger them yourself? Do you have to have a certain skill level in an advanced profession like Musician or Dancer or can those with just Entertainer skills use them? I've really had trouble finding this information. Any help or information would be appreciated.

Thanks!

A Mon Calamari on Tatooine is like a fish out of water. If we we're fish. Which we're NOT.

The droid you saw was equipped with five of the six visual effects that can be installed in a droid. These require novice musician or dancer to operate. You can configure the droid to trigger these effects in a certain sequence with pauses in between, when you then activate the droid it will follow the sequence you have set. They provide no skill bonuses, only visual enhancement. For more details check out the Publish 8 Hot Topics - Entertainer Effects thread.
