Oops... hit the Enter key too soon.

I just picked up Novice and while I don't really mind grinding i would like to actually produce something usable (and that will sell on my vendor). What can I produce that is of use to other DE's or the public at large? What use is an MSE droid without any additional modules (that I can't produce yet)? Should I just grind up thru the ranks till I can produce the new stuff?

Any feedback from you veterens would be appreciated!

I don't see Novices being able to sell much, to be honest.

It's pretty yucky that this is the case but there it is...


I'd recommend you grind up the Novice box and maybe BP1 and Production 1. That should give you some sellable options.

Not knowing what your cash situation is, I'll make a recommendation that may cost you some money. Try finding an MDE willing to sell you some Detonation Modules. Then you can install them into the MSEs you grind, and sell them. This option being open only if you find a nice DE willing to cut you some slack

Well, Bounty hunter droids always sell quickly, either in crates or as single. You get Seekers in Advanced Droid Blueprints, Arakyds in Expert. Both easily create some cash for more grinding.

Advertise them a bit and I am sure some bounty hunters will buy them. If you continuously keep them in stock people will actually refer you.

Excellent ideas and my cash situation is actually pretty good so I'll try to find some DEs that will sell me the components to make these things useful.

It does seem weird that there isn't a single thing I can make as just Novice that is useful. On my own my only option is to grind.

I would go with the Detonator MSE idea. Buy a few crates of these things and put them into Mouse Droids (You will need to make around 350)

also you can make the droid customization tools and sell those... thats what im working to right now... requires Master Artisan
