Thread: HELP: i want to buy a droid but don't know exactly what is the most u can get in one
can i get a weaponcrafting station droid with a storage module and a medical module so i can also heal my wounds when im in a camp as well as craft weapons heh! also, say i store 10 resources in the storage module, do those 10 resrouces then take up 10 spots as "items " in my house if i call the bot in my house?
finally, what other modules can a droid have? ideally i'd like to combine my 4 droids into one. (probot, medical, storage, weaponcrafting station droid)
oops finally, can i call 2 probots at the same time if im in a fight (i.e. like 2 pets)
Yes, you can stack virtually all modules together in one big-honkin' R3.. EXCEPT: you cannot put more than one crafting station in a droid, and the "Power" functionality of a power droid is not available to any other droid type.
..and NO, you can't pull out more than one droid at a time. It sucks, but that's the way it is right now. ![]()
Cheers,
As far as 10 resources taking 10 items, are you talking about stacks of resources or 1 stack with 10 units? One stack takes up one 'space'. It doesn't matter how many items you have in that stack, it takes up one space. The only exception to this are some really old factory crates that count as 5 spaces (ok, they aren't actually resources, but they are sort of close).
As far as power modules and repair modules go, there is no such thing as a power module. Only EG-6 Power Droids can recharge other droids and that is because of their inherent ability. An advanced EG-6 can store 2 modules I think but if equiped with a repair module the repair module will not function I have been told (and the ability to recharge other droids might become broken as well). I haven't tested this myself but I see little reason to doubt it.
You asked about 3 storage modules. This still will not allow you to store more then 10 items in the droid. Stacking modules together never returns a result better than a single Level VI module. The advantage of stacking is that if you are unable to make a level VI module, either due to skill or resources, you can stack multiple lower level modules together at the expense of using extra slots.
