Thread: Free-floating hostilities
Okay, this is just going to be one of those "whining" threads. Everyone needs to do one eventually, right? So here's just a list of things that are giving me a facial twitch.
1) When is "Bug day"? Remember, that one day of the week where the Devs work solely on bugs, and we can expect a nice Droid Engineer list of fixes for the actual bugs? Did we miss it? Or are we simply bug-free? Perhaps all our many, many problems are content issues and not bugs. Yay!
2) Recent quote by Q-3PO: "We don't generally answer "Petition" threads because we want to encourage them." Should I weep? They don't want to respond to big threads of a particular issue.....because they want to encourage them......what? Is Q suggesting that, by responding to a thread, they may be discouraging the discussion of that issue? It seems to me that the only *reason* people take that issue to such great lengths is because they're *hoping* for some flippin' feedback on the issue! Bah.
3)The "Probot Nerf Band-aid" is still on there....you know, band-aids only stop the problem for a little bit. If i have a big gash, sure, the band-aid will soak up a little blood until you get yourself some real attention. Right now, our wound is gangreen and starting to grow mold that glows in the dark.
4)The next person to beg me for a free Mouse droid with Med 6and a Food/Chem Crafting Station is getting kicked square in the crotch.
5) So where's that new PR person they said they were in the process of hiring? You know, the one that was supposed to devote his/her entire time to communicating with the player forums?
6)Random gratitude here. I am GLAD that they fixed Bounty Hunter droids. We came up with an idea that would be good for both of us, and they implemented it. Since then, it has been working great....I can charge a reasonable sum for the time and resources to make the buggers, and Bounty Hunters have no complaints because the uses are much greater.
7) Now to end off on an irritated note. Since those first "Correspondant Issues" we got a reply of something like, "Yeah, we agree. What do you think would help?" Then we all wept because we had been compiling such lists and sending them the information for weeks and weeks beforehand. After we gathered the info back up *again*, we have heard....nothing. Because our Dev is working on Mounts. It's a necessary thing, but it still is enough to make one's teeth grind.
Look on the bright side, Sigmatech.
Our slogan used to be: "These aren't the droids you're looking for."
Now it's much better: "These aren't the droids you're looking for til around Christmas time."

/I agree with your well-reasoned whine thread. I think I have already used mine up.
