Fellow DE's ... I thought i read somewhere that producing items from a factory yields 10% of the XP that you would have gotten if you crafted it by hand... However, I've produced 2 runs of Arakyd droids and 1 run of seekers and not received any XP .... my DE xp remains at 32,251 right where it was before the runs ... is this bugged for us? Or am I just remembering what I read incorrectly?

Hmm, only reasons I know of for not getting the crafting exp. You are not logged on while factory is running. Or, you are too far away from factory. I seem to recall in a post from a few months ago, you had to be within 512 meters of factory to get crafting exp. Not sure if that is still the case, but if so that could also be the reason.

heh - if that is the case, i'd like to officially list that as a bug...

Yes, you are supposed to get 10% of the XP u would get if crafted by hand.

However, my doctor friend says there as a posting in the doctors forum about
factories not giving anymore xp. This is a new bug I think, probably from last patch.

I cranked out some stuff yesterday and no xp for those it seems...

Oops, hit submit too soon.

The bug about needing to be close to your factory has always existed.
However, it's a new bug that it is not giving xp even if you'rr right
next to your factory.

welp - i'll /bug that bizatch when i get on tonight then ... you all should too (well, everyone that cares that is...) as it really does make a difference ... they compile a report of the top /bugged issues (amoung many other things)when making their priority list...

I'm getting no XP either, and I'm in range. I also rember something like "fixed bug where you you were getting the XP you deserved during manufacture when removing items from crates".

I think that bug was it was giving you *full* crafting xp when removing items from crates. Maybe we only get 10% when removing items from crates now? LOL

Factories of any kind are not giving xp, until an item is uncrated, and then itgives general crafting xp. Was supposed to have been fixed, tested last night with all types of factories.

Ok - lets all /bug this specifically then... I am not in need of general crafting XP I'm already Master Artisan, AND i have already hit my general crafting XP ceiling again

as of last patch, this seems to be working ... experience is again gained when the factory crates are opened.

This may not be a fix. I sell most my crates, so my are my customers getting all my factory XP?

no - i meant the experience comes back to me when the customer opens the crates later. It adds up to a constant flow of XP while Bounty Hunters extract droids from the crates...
