ugh the horror of it, my power droid needs recharge. anyone on the tempest server with a power droid that will be will to recharge me?

That's pretty funny, just use a battery.

never made a droid battery and never will. i just can't believe that a power droid will end up needing a recharge, been using it daily for 3 weeks with not problems

Power droids should not run out of power... ever.

Literally quoting the SW RPG revised core rulebook:

"Unlike other droid types, it can recharge itself without shutting down, allowing it to function continuously. It's fusion generation can power anything up to a small starship indefinitely."

This droid is unable to power itself at all. There is no listed power meters for any droids. Droids do not function like droids right now.Surgical droids can not heal anything of any type of wound or damage. Repair droids can not repair anything. Power droids run out of power. Probots weapons are about as useful as a CDEF. Literally we are supposed to be able to construct a droid to do anything a human can. Right now we can't build a droid that does what a droid is supposed to. I'm still trying to figure out exactly why a mouse droid can carry 100k units of material. Thats pretty much like bench pressing 5 or 6 very large tanks. And it still can use a medical module to heal wounds in the field... yea... something with no manipulator arms being just 10 times as effective in healing wounds as a surgical droid.

Droid Enginner is a fubared profession right now. According to our reps the profession is going to continue to be fubared. We're just going to have to wait it out.

how dare you, support your droid engineers and buy the one thing from em that will wear out and provide some kinda of crappy steady income. cheap **edit**
