Thread: Your droids customisation has faded completly
Hi DE's
A question on a feture that is a bug.
Thefades completly message is what i get when called my old r4 unit. This R4 no longer functions as a medical unit s i can no longer use wound packs with him out. So i think ill buy another so i pony up the 20K for an advanced unit with medical/crafting and armor modules and call him from my datapad. Guess what i get the same message as with the old droid AND the medical module also seems to not function (however as it doesnt seem to say on the examine screen that the droid has the module anywher i cant be sure it is fitted but it was advertised as such).
So is this a bug? How can a brand new droid have faded completly on first call? am i a dimwit that is missing something obvious about new droids.
I did notice as my old droid faded away he got less reliable. ie i could not heal sometime after calling him.
Any help would be great as i would like my 20k to not be wasted (Those seething bols will be getting a visit to reinburse me)
You likely need to recharge your droid to get the modules to work. You can check the power status by giving your droid a command and if you get a "low power" message then the droid needs a recharge. You need a battery in your inventory then select recharge from the droids radial menu.
As for the customisation any Droid Engineer with a customisation tool can paint your droid. Customisation only last 20 calls from the datapad and only relates to the color of your droid.

The reason your medical module isn't working is in fact because it needs recharging. The problem you will encounter, is that you will need to throw in a battery approximately every 2nd or 3rd time you use it ![]()
It completely sucks and I hope to hell they fix it that batteries last longer.
I don't use a fighting droid or any other feature droids, so I really don't know if they chew through power like the med module ones, but be prepared to buy crates and crates of batteries to use your droid from now on.
