Thread: What does a Power Droid do?
What does a Power Droid do? I built one, but for the life of me, can not figure out why this slow, seemingly useless piece of junk uses a power core unit that costs me $8k-$12k to pay an architect to build...
Can someone put an end to my confusion??
It also heals mind wound damage on other droids. Not that this makes it worth the cost...

Power Droids *GONK* have a couple of uses, though the cost of the Power Core is a rather hefty price to pay for these uses.
First, Power Droids *GONK* can be used to recharge other droids. You will have to program your Power Droid *GONK* with the "Recharge Other Droid" command, but once programmed you just click on the target droid and give the command. I have heard that they *GONK* are only good for about 6 recharges before needing to be recharged themselves *GONK*, but I've never tested it myself.
Second, a Power Droid *GONK*, just like a Droid Battery, can be used to heal Mind wounds on other droids. The process is identical to recharging other droids.
I have an advanced model *GONK* with a repair module and a WDG Crafting station in it... makes a great conversation piece *GONK* when I'm out crafting and allows me to heal any wounded droids that happen by.

Hmm... I'll check again to make sure I'm not confusing my droids *GONK*, but I'm pretty sure that I used good ol' Twonky *GONK* to repair some droids the other day. I have several droids with repair modules installed, though, including my own personal Probot, so it is entirely possible that I'm mis-remembering which one I used.
I'll give a free Advanced Probot (a 12k value! :smileyvery-happy
to the first person to post here who is on Ahazi who can identify where the name Twonky comes from.
