Thread: What numbnutt gave TH this asenine idea?

Ill be doing it this week. I had to push it off until some of internal discussions were finished. The timetable was changed because the Droid Engineers were very clear in telling me they wanted Droid Engineering and Droid Handling as two seperate professions.
Their argument makes a lot of sense too. A good balance is akin to Bio-Engineers and Creature Handlers; BE's make em and CH's use them. Its really two different playstyles. One is crafting and one is combat/exploration. Adding a class of combat droids to the game has to be similar. Combat droids themselves have to stay level 10 or under for the general population otherwise everyone would rush out and get the better pets. That leaves a wide range of powerful combat droids that needs to be in the game, but to get those droids, players have to spend the time and energy to earn them.
So what we'll have is a Droid Engineer profession and a Droid Handling profession. All players will have access to combat droids up to level 10 and DH's will get a wide range of heavy combat droids to handle.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I signed onto this class to be able to make, use, sell and service droids. What band of idiots gave TH the idea that some droids should be too complex for it's builder to use? We've been batting this DH idea around for a month and the majority approves a cert system like what Homocron mentioned six months ago after the probot nerf.
Is TH a complete idiot? His reading comprehension must suck! I just don't give a f//uc/k anymore. F//u/ck this profession.

it doesnt matter either way boss, a month after thebattle droids come out the nerfherders will scream 'transformer' wars instead of p-o-k-e-m-o-n and youll get nerfed into oblivion just like ch

I think it's degrading to the robotic characters in Star Wars to imply they need a Droid Handler. I actually want droid to open up as a Character class so I can go around harassing people as an artoo.
I don't like the DH idea, I think it's just a lazy copy of CH, and nothing to do with the SW universe.

ooooh I got i! Then when DE's make the largest most badda$$ driods there are... fork em over to the "new" DH, they can turn andcombine their powers and driods to make a single super droid!!!
