Droid Engineer Archive

First let me say I've been a Droid Engineer since the game was launched. I started the game wanting to be a DE. The day I finally hit Master Droid Engineer was probably my happiest day in the game.

I knew our profession was very broken a long time ago, but I stuck it out. I even stuck it out through all the times TH would come here and stall for time by doing his usual "We need more input on idea X' even when there were 50 threads already discussing idea X to death. I mean, yeah, I got mad. The 5 days where we weren't able to craft droids at all, that pissed me off. When our Probots got nerfed and had permadeath, then a week later they hand the masses pets more powerful than our pre-nerf Probots, that got my blood boiling.

With all thats happened I can say I've never seriously considered leaving my beloved profession. I couldn't even begin to imagine myself as anything another other than a Droid Engineer. At least until now. For the first time I'm actually considering leaving DE.

I always respected Thunderheart. I always gave him the benefit of the doubt. Hes a busy guy, he has all these correspondants to deal with on a daily basis. He'll get to us, right? He may not post in the DE forum, but surely he browses it every now and then, right? Well, we know Drashk has TOLD Thunderheart that DE's are opposed to this idea. Thunderheart is a liar. I've lost all respect for him. How dare he put words in our mouths and say that we support this idea!

Sintrosi must have known what was coming, it makes sence why he left now.
