Apperantly you have to be a community veteran to be able to do this. Don't know what is takes to be a veteran, must not be how long you have been a member. Maybe the number of posts you made? That is a retarded method of doing this as any one with a lot of time and typing /bump could do this.
Oh well though you all might want to know.

If it was register date, then don't ya think I would be a Vet? Also I was a beta member, and still not Vet. I think is is by number of posts so get ready for a bunch of useless posts like "yeah" and "/nods" a lot more often. They should just make all accounts able to be edited.

I was wondering how the Veteran status is decided too. I've seen some people with more posts than I have but not have Veteran status. I've seen people that registered well before I did and are still Community Members.
I figure it must be a mix of the two. Maybe also having something to do with stars given to your posts?

well my average star rating is 4 stars, my register date is Jul, and I have 94 post (95 now).
hope that when I hit 100 maybe I'll get beyond newbie level and edit some of my future posts. (I have been praying for this for so long)

I think it's a combination of number of posts and registered time. I don't recall seeing anyone with less than 200 posts with Veteran status regardless of their registered date. If you look at the "dashboard" it tracks a lot of other stuff as well, so it might even be tied to amount of time you spend on the boards.

Well I do not have 200 posts yet I am a Community Vet now. Maybe it has to do with browsing multiple boards?
It is nice tho to be able to edit. I hope everyone gets their option soon! Here is my data btw for comparison:

If it is going to take 200 posts to edit them I am going to scream.
I can only look at the boards ever so often at work and most of the time I will not submit one unless I have something that is constructive to add or really pissed off (maybe why I'm posting more often??)
