Thread: Protocol droids: Do they know protocol?

Hiya tech heads


I'm kinda thinking of buying a droid, but nobody can tell me if protocol droid serve their most common purpose:

Are they able to transelate other languages?


Yeah yeah; I know it's easy to learn 'em all, but what if I don't want to? Let's say it's an issue of political belief and a roleplaying thing


Is there a translation module -do the 3POs of SWG know over 6 million forms of communication?

Sadly they don't, it would add so much to the game if they echoed a targets speech into basic language - so yeah protocol droids have no protocol.

Nope, no translation... the protocols can do the same as the rest of the droids... Medical/Storage/Datapad
