Thread: Anyone else notice this? Bug maybe?

I know we droid engineers arent prone to too many bugs (j/k)

But here's one I just found...

I made an MSE droid with a lvl 5 item storage module (rated at 10), and it had a max capacity of 8 items...

I made the same MSE droid (same resources, same experimentation) with a lvl 6 storage module (rated at 11), and it had max capacity of 10 items.... what gives?

The module ratings don't have any bearing on the final outcome, unless you're stacking 2 lesser modules.

One level 5 module will always give you 8 item storage, no matter how well experimented.

One level 6 module will always give you 10 item storage, no matter how well experimented.

(2 well experimented Level 3's) = (2 non-experimented Level 4's) = (1 Level 6)

That's exactly correct.

You need a rating of at least 11 to get 10 capacity in item storage. It is theoretically possible to do that with an extremely well experimented Level 5 Item Storage module, but it requires nearly perfect resources. Most L5 ISMs have ratings of either 9 or 10.

The only actual storage capacities in droids are 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10. Those require total module ratings of 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, and 11 respectively.

As near as we can tell, it's not possible to have a droid with an actual item storage capacity of 5 due to the fact that the modules' Module Ratings are added together to get the actual storage capacity. It would seem more logical to just add together the modules' actual storage capacities, but that's not the way it works.

save that ore until you have master- its very rare, and you can just stack two lvl 4s and not use it
