Hi all,

Im a newish MDE and my bounty hunter guildmate asked me to make him a DZ70 advanced, which i did, and this is what I got:

Effect (all) 40.00 %

difficulty 18

base to hit .33

Health 2528

Action 2528

Mind 2528

Attack Speed 1.92

Damage 126 - 133

Customization Lifespan 16

I put an armor mod 6 in it with a rating of 12 and a mechanism quality of 5

The droid combat modules are 91%

So why does it say armor: none when he pulls it out? Did I waste my lev 6? How can I improve my droid next time? I know that the dz is considered the weakest combat droid, is there even a market for these? If so, what should I charge? I read about stacking, can i do this in these droids? ummm, how does that work?

I apologize if this info is readily available elsewhere, can someone point me to the link?

ok I think im out of questions

You'll need to call your droid out and examine it to see the armor. It doesn't add Armor Rating, it adds resists. I think it's 20% resists per level 6 armor module?

Effectiveness during the final combine will increase it's HAM I believe.

I've sold quite a few DZ70s to newbies. It's not a full tank by any means but for lower level players, and crafters who just need a little extra something when running to Harvesters it's a good invesment.

I don't think the DZ70s can hold enough modules to stack can they? It's still just 1 combat module and 1 defenise right?

As for stacking, like in the R3 Advanced you can stack up to 6 modules in them. If you were put in 6 100pt combat modules you'd have a total of 600 combat rating. If you only put in 3, you'd get a 300 CR.

The Hot Topics link is good one, it has descriptions of all the modules and how they work.

You can install two combat modules (max of CR200).

Armour is seperate from the Module slots, thus you can install the L6 Armour which is rated at a max of 20% Resist All. No more armour rating (Medium or Light). It is now NONE. *sigh*

personally, I prefer my Probot as a Combat droid, compared to the R3. *shrugs*

Acutally, each module has a maximum rating of 110, so you can get this droid up to a rating of 220.

But the beauty of this droid isnt its combat ability. It is the fact that the max HAM is the same as the adv. probot at 3200. So with the same defensive modules in it, it is just as good a damage sink as the farm more expensive probot. It's just as good for xping. For example, I charge around 8k each for my top rated combat modules, but only 3k for a good auto-repair. You put 2 auto repair modules in to get a rating of 38-40 and the thing still attacks for 1 damage (not taking any xp from the owner) to get agro. In that configuration, I would only charge 7 or 8k for the thing. So there you go, a bargain basement damage sink for the new player xping against low-level mobs.
