I think that this is a wonderful idea.
Now, try to convice the devs that this is really necessary and worth spending a month on recoding :-)

I really like this idea. I could do factory runs of finished droids where all I would have to do is drop in the modules.

just an idea i had, how about giving peeps the ability swap moduleswith the droid chassis they have. ie guns have decay, why not make combat modules have decay. when one breaks come back and buy another (this might be a solution to the no droid decay for us) same could go for a 110 med, after so many uses the part starts to wear out, and when that happens...come back and by another. just an idea, let me know wut u guys think.

I 100% agree that this is by far the best way to implement Droid Decay. Have parts wear out and us just install new parts.
The only problem with it is this, it is a Drastic change to how Droids work. While the Developers probably agree that we need some type of Droid Decay, is the problem worth spending so much time on one profession? We may think so, but were biased.
Unfortunatly, I think we are/will be stuck with some type of Decay added to the current system.
Were kind of in a catch 22, do we lobby hard for a drastic change that is the best idea, but probably wont happen. Or do we lobby for an idea that isn't as good, but can be implemented easier.
