This post is not a flame
Well I have considered dropping droid engineer and I am now doing just that. I like the changes but I cannot take part in the profession due to a time constraint. I am married and have our first baby on the way. I am also another statistic of the continuing saga of corporate piracy upon the common worker bee and my job has been outsourced here in the US. So I cannot invest the amount of time that it takes to gather resources and the amount of time it takes to make the droid which I enjoyed. It is far too demanding with the game and real life. So I am just pursing my second character as mayor of Starsider/Veritas on talus since it is a more casual profession.
This post is not a flame. I think the community and the effort and time of the Dev’s have been great. I think our correspondents have been awesome. I hope that time will allow me to play SWG as a crafter in the near future and I sincerely hope to return. I will always hold to my guns that graphic immersion and player functionality are one and the same. I do feel bad for you DEVS because I think the original vision of the game was better. I also feel you were pushed for an early release date by SOE which resulted in a lot of malfunctions on release. This is why we don’t have AT AT walkers on a scale that we saw at E3 in the past- I was there.
I think the idea of SWG is awesome but you need to take a look at the graphic immersion and star wars feel of Jedi Knight Outcast and KOTOR. This is not a rip. It is just saying take a look at the star wars feel of those game and be influenced by them. These games have captured the feeling of Star Wars with the graphics. The profession revamps are awesome. But after that where will you be?
You cannot keep making dungeons in the ground. It is silly because this is Star Wars. Droids need to be every where. You guys have a lot of work ahead of you Over all kudos to the battle droid invasion player events.

Good luck with your profession and DEVS good luck with the game and I hope you can fix the lag. Maybe place moreof the gamelocally on the hard drive.

Yes, those millionaires. They couldn't live a day in our shoes, but we could live a lifetime in theirs.

I take it that you will not vote for the person who promises to work to secure your natural individual rights to life, liberty and property -- you're just going to vote for whomever promises to give you the most of someone else's money. Am I right?
