I was a DE back in the day. Somewhat recently back, got MDE and other than an old e-mail from the then DE association with incomplete info I've not a good clue of pricing structure other than a vague idea based on guides here. Not crazy go mad to get orders, but wouldn't mind it, and don't wanna step all over people's toes. So if any Tarq MDE could help me out possibly with an e-mail it'd be appreciated.

I am a MDE on Tarq and this is my price scale. I make only a few droids that i stock in my vendor, but they sell like bad. (sorry for the funny looking post, keeps double spacing when i hit enter)

Adv Probot CL30 Combat with Auto Repair of 79 rating sells like mad for about 65k

R3 CL30 droids with same ratings for 45k

R4s combat with auto-repair for 40k

Astros in r5s start at 20k and add 2500 per level increase, Flight computer normally about 2500 for the first level and 1500 each level increase. (i do charge a lot more of tier 5 droids in both styles, normally gage it off the current prices i figure for the tier 4 astros and FC).

All custom R2 - 45k

All Custom R3 - 45k

If anyone orders something that i dont normally make (CP3 barkers or enteratiner droids) i normally charge anywhere from 20k to 45k depending on the model.

Bounty Hunter Droids (not bomb droids) - 10000 for a crate of 5 on both, those dont sell that fast anymore because of the increase in the number of charges or uses each has now.

Bomb Droids - R3 modules with 57 det rating - around 50k each

Hope that helps

Wow Thargar, those prices are really, really cheap. From a consumer standpoint, an item that basically never needs to be replaced, and that has so much of an upside, I would charge a lot more. From a crafter standpoint, an item that requires so many resources and subcomponents, I would charge a lot more.

I am on Tarq, I have sold pre-fab combat/med droids for 200k. Sure they don't sell like hotcakes, but they do sell. I even though that price was a bit low... These types of droids are our bread and butter, our big-ticket items. If we do not market them as such, people will not perceive their value to be that great. Think of it like this: the new Porshe or Lamborgini comes out and is selling for $20,000, how in-demand would that model be? How long would it take before that car manufacturer was no longer considered to be 'hot'.

Please reconsider your pricing scheme, not only is your profit margin negligible, but you are undercutting the market and possibly hurting the overall perception / demand for droids on the server.

Right, my prices:

Custom: totally dependent on Chassis, no less than 150k (or free if I like you)

Akaryds / Seekers:1500 / 1200 per (I'd love to charge 6M for a crate of 20, but the prevailing prices on the server are in this range)

Combat / Med 110 / Auto repair R3 and Probots: 200k

MSE Storage: 1000 per

AdvMSE 39Det Bombs: 5000 per

Astromech: Lvl 6 / Combat / 110Med / Auto Repair : 250k

Astromech R5:15000/level (no other mods these are limited use droids)

Flight Computers: 15000/level

No, I don't ever sell out my stock, but I have made over 1.5M in the past 6 weeks from droid sales alone.

Don't underestimate the amonut of money that people have. Even a brand new player has plenty of ways to make cash. The trick is to make every sale count, you need to figure what the product is worth to the buyer.

I'm on Scylla, and my prices may vary, but the principle is the same.

Take an MSE Storage Droid for example. I charge 25k for those and I sell a lot of them. Think about a storage droid. Newer people or poorer people don't "need" a storage droid. The 130 items each toon can carry is enough, it's only when you start to really carry a lot, tons of food, extra weapons, and loot, lots of loot. People really only start to run out of room because they are full of loot.

Take a look at loot prices. They are very high. A storage Droid allows you to carry 10 extra pieces of loot, how much money can be made from that loot?

If you sell Storage Droids for 1k, you may as well give them away. You can't buy anything with that kind of money, and to many people the difference between 1k and free is about the same.

What I am trying to say is ensure you get what your product and time is worth. In an ideal situation, you should be able to make just as much crafting droids as running combat missions.

The1000cr for a storage MSE is the prevailing price for such a droid on my server. I'd love to charge more for them and for the BH droids, and for everything in general, but I still want to sell the stuff eventually. The market on my server has been severely devalued due to underpricing and lack of true appreciation for what a droid can do.

That really is just to bad. Honestly, I would still charge more. Not everybody Bazaar price compares. For every one person that just impulse buy a storage droid for 20k, you would need to sell 20 of the others. The difference in time and resources is a lot.

OK this input helps as before I didn't have much other than an e-mail from the head of the DE association from like 2 years ago.

I've sold some stuff so far, but pretty much just some R2 & Protocol Chassis that I sold at 50K (seems decent compared to finished droid prices you are getting) and an Adv MSE Detonation droid I sold for 20K (don't remember the stats, pretty much the first detonation droid I've ever made)
