Thread: master de, wanting to ask a few questions
kind of upsetting how paranoid you all are if that's the reason i'm getting zero responses. your lack of communication might be the reason your profession still sucks.
whatever folks. i'll find out on my own.

Wow, I can't believe noone else has answered this question. I'll help you out.
As far as quality goes, the quality makes no difference in seeker droids at all. Use your crap resources.
Seeker droids are currently bugged, so they don't sell so well. They have sort of an infinite use if the BH exploits them.
I am on intrepid, and I sell a crate of 5 (thats what they come in) for 8k. That's pretty low for our economy, about 6 cpu/resource. But otherwise they seem to be a ripoff to me, since they are generally gone quick, and BH's burn through them if they don't exploit. So I keep my prices lower and sell a few crates now and then. I actually recommend building the arakyd probe BH droids instead, they sell better and use about the same resources and parts (emm and egp cards).
Good luck. DE can be incredibly fun if you stick it out, and don't mind not being super rich. I love making the droids different for everyone and making peeps happy with a new friend. Sounds kinda cheesy and g-a-y but oh well.
woo thanks man. i was beginning to lose all faith with the community.
so someone else told me to look into the arakyd droids. last time i looked i (for some reason) couldn't find them under my droid tab in my crafting tool. anyway, i'll try again, but what's the difference ?
also is there a market for selling the master artisan pieces to DEs? i wouldn't mind being a parts distributor

Actually this forum one of the best in terms of hospitality towards people. go look at all the flames and bad threads in the other forums.
Identifying yourself as a hologrinder and then saying our profession sucks isnt going to get you any help.
Bounty Hunter's skill, not how well they were made, so don't be too worried about using uber resouces on them.
PS - if you can't find the probe droid, try opening up your tool next to a crafting station, a lot of the schematics need a public or private crafting station to show up in your tools.
Hi there, you might need to be near a crafting station to be able to acess the arkayd probe droid schematics... I'm not ingame and my memory is pretty shoddy, so you'll have to check on that one yourself
The arkayd probes droids are what a BH needs to track a target on an interplanetary scope, they'll nail down what planet a target has gotten to. I'm selling seekers at 6k a crate and probes at 8k, I don't advertise, but I still make what I consider to be a decent number of sales, mostly to regulars.
I don't know if there's a huge market for MA components to DE's, but I knowI snag crates cheaply from the bazaar when I see them and otherwise I'm happy to pay a master artisan for 1000-run schematics of the parts I need. dropping master artisan was the best ingame skillpoint decision I've made in months, it allowed me to pick up 0,0,4,4 Commando and I'm absolutely enjoying the heck out of it. It sure beats being able to cook up my own MA schematics.
Don't worry too much about grouchy responses here, DE is one of the "mad scientist" professions (in my opinion) and most of us fit the role pretty well, no insult to my Brother DE's ![]()

On average, my seekers are 1500c and arkady probe 2500 ... crated is 7500c and 12500c, respectively.
crates give 25 and 50 uses, (seekers-5, probe-10 - or did I get that backwards)
quality of materials is irrelevant, both for the seeker/probe and the EMM/EGP.
You can experiment, but it won't change much of anything - at least for these types.
woo, thanks. sorry about my initial outlashing towards the community.
and thansk for all the one stars! you guys are great!
