Thread: How do you guys handle extended AFKs?

With a pretty booming DE business, I find myself doing at least 1 - 2 hours of crafting each night to keep up with my vendors. I'm completely content with doing this and i find it rather enjoyable, actually.

Well, last week, I was out of town for a night and was unable to log in. When i got back online the night after i was faced with 4 hours of crafting. This was not the most fun i've had in the game, but it wasn't bad, either.

My question is this. How do you guys handle the inevitable extended AFKs that pop up from time to time?

I guess i could just plan for it, and make tons of droids, but i also have another character that i PvP with and with bases to defend, rebels to squish, etc.. it's hard to keep my little DE logged in that long.

Any advice?

I cant remeber who came up with this idea but it was fairly recently. This person would mass produce droids for a whole week, load up her vendor, and then she coasted on that for a 3 week period.

So she had a 1 week on and 3 week off system going. I've been thinking of trying this myself for when I do the New Jedi Quest system.

A few time saving tips:

1) Make as much as you can in factories.

2) Dont do custom orders unless you have labor factored into the price

3) Raise your prices (You will have less moving off your vendor but will make more per droid).

I recently went on vacation for a week. Before that, I stocked the vendors and set ad barking on my special orders vendor to indicate when I'd be back.

My baloney has a second name is u-p-g-r-a-d-e.

Make big stock.
And don't put everything at one on your vendor.

Just keep it filled, and refill from time to time.

I'm currently on low business due to work and TKA leveling.
What I do is try to fill the vendor mainly with loads of accessories and mass producted droids, so it isn't empty, and will go back to actual droids once I have time.

That's why my vendor is mainly stocked with batteries, custom kit, BH droids, BOOM droids, and 10 Item storage MSE.

During that off time, I also restock ressources, and do smaller factory run of modules, so when I'll be back in business, I'll be able to do loads of droids at once.
