Hello all,
I am a merchant and plan on buying a barker droid when I am able to use it. I have a question regarding power drain. Since I want my barker to advertise for as long as possible, I would like to know which droid chassis has the least amount of power drain other than the mouse. I reject the mouse droid as an option due to its tiny size... I want my advertiser to be of a noticeable size. I assume the DRZ70 (basic vs. advanced) has the next minimal power drain but that is an assumption and nothing else. Anyone able to shed some light on this? Also, what kind of power drain does the protocol droid have?

as far as I'm aware honey, power drain is equal regardless of the droid type, so long as you only have the barker module and you get about 4 hours out of a battery charge (i think).
Your choice of a DZ is an excellent one flower as they really stand out, take this ol' g1rlz advice and put it between the shuttle and the entryway at your nearest major starport, it'll be the first thing people see when they rematerialize and is both distinctive and unusual

But some people also like the walking billboard of a Binary Load Lifter Droid.. very easy to see. Its just as economical as the DZ70.

I have found power usage to be pretty much the same no matter which chassis is used.
The only exception is if you have an auto-repair module turned on, the battery will be used up much faster.
Personally I use the BLL as a barker because it's big. The DZ70 is a good choice though because you don't see many of them around (at least in my experience).

Just as economical as a BLL roflmao. Hmmm, I do have an idea with one though....

It really comes down to the inisial cost of the droid vers the visablity of it. I as a DE use a Power Droid(with bright colors), only cause there extreely rare as a PC pet. I also have seen a Treadwell as one. a BLL however it VERY visable (spechially Brightly colored) however its about ten times more expenive then the other droids. If you could name (wich you can't (damn bug)) I would say the best would be a "talking" Droid (Protocal, Surgical, LE Repair). Its all personal Prefirance. However the DZ70 is almost as cheap as the MSE and has the Advantage of floating at shoulder Hight so that would also be a good choice.

Please DO NOT set up spammers INSIDE the starport shuttle area. It's bad enough having to deal with spam outside, but inside is just plain rude.
