Thread: Armor rating for R3 droid came out better than I thought they could be..

Ok I think I'm confused, or misreading the FAQ again.. Is there supposed to be an armor resists % cap on droids now? I thought the FAQ said it was capped at 20% but I just made a droid with 40% resists..
I used an Adv R3 and 2 Level 4 armor modules. Came out with Armor: None and Resists 40%..

Unfortunately this has been reported to be an error, at least from the last that I read. The armor rating should be 20%, but after it is called the second time it displays as 40% resists. This has been like this since the first droid publish, Publish 7.

Yup, like Drashk said....it SHOWS 40%, but it's actually 20%. Do we really need 6 levels of armor for this crap?

If / when Droid armor is re-adressed at some point down the line, the use of Level 6 Droid Armor should having meaning again. This could be a retroactive fix, which would affect all droids in current use and production. I don't see this happening until a few publishes after JTL, when higher level droids are added in, with the addition of DC, or something with the same effect. My guess is that we won't see any real changes until at least Publish 14, which will more than likely me towards the end of the year / begining of next year. This is pure speculation on my part though....

Given the pace of the publishes and the number of profs in line ahead of us I would say at least summer/Fall 2005.
