Because there is still a perceived need for a detailed explanation of the devs' thinking from an actual dev, not the devs' publicist (no offense TH) ... particularly a thread where RuneSabre reads the opinions of the DE's who have been clamoring for real changes for MONTHS that TH's In Dev thread does nothing to acknowledge or address.

Yes, that is the uber post.

I am glad they listened to us - no more Droid Handler - it is now Droid Master!

Don't it look just Uber, changed the name from DH to DM... I'm glad they listen to us.

I hate to say it, all they promised was an explanation of what they were planning, not to even consider other suggestions, so the "Uber-post" is just what they promised.

I still won't call it uber, because there is no suggestion of what they are considering for pre-reqs for DH.. sorry DM, nor what additional abilities they will have beyond commanding more powerful droids (if any).

The excuse that TH has given about making changes to the combat system making it impossible to prevent "uber" templates from arising is damed annoying, an average statistical analyst with a copy of matlab could figure it out. I think they should invest in one.

Yeah that was our uber post. I guess we should be happy, that even though they arn't listening to us that they are posting about droids. For the first 6 months we really didn't hear anything at all. We didn't even know if they knew we were alive. Now at least they know we are alive, but it seems like they just don't care that we are.
