This is Star Wars, everybody should be able to own a good droid. (After all, what is so hard in telling a machine to attack). Now we'll get a profession based on issuing commands. (Think we already have that in Squad Leader...)

Why oh why wasn't a cert system put in. They could have based it on the highest elite profession you have. So, you're a master pikeman, or architect for example. That's the highest cert. you're master in one branch of an elite profession, lowest cert. It would ensure that the higher level droids can only be used by higher level players.

So I am not saying add it all up, just check what the highest level is in ONE elite/hybrid profession.

A master Rifleman has no use for a CL 10 combat droid, and now, he's stuck with it. The DH profession will only help to make the DE profession more obsolete than it is now.

My idea would make life so much easier and make Star Wars Galaxies truely Star Wars.

Of course, this is my personal opinion and this will never happen.

/sigh, you may now flame me.
