Lets say they heard our screams and realized that droids in the same class as CH-pets was not smart progamming. They instead decided to make droids independent of pets (make them operate more like harvesters as some have suggested).
Would you support not being able to make "Pet style" droids for a month or two, if it created an entierly new droid system?
I think I would.

I'd support almost anything to get a decent droid system.
Droids are what star wars is about.
Droids are why I play this game, and that hold is getting weaker.
There's a new imperial crackdown coming, and I'd support having to go 'underground' to be a combat droid engineer. Once the space expansion comes, I'd support being forced to live on my ship to avoid Imperial patrols, dealing with smugglers to get my wares out to those who can afford them. I'd deal with all kinds of inconveniences, if we could just get droids working the way they should.
