Ok, my vendor finally ran out of my 'swiss army' model R3 utility droid, so I figured I'd make some more. For some reason my socket cluster will NOT go into the Advanced R3's.
Either I missed a huge bug or I'm doing something wrong. Anyone know?

The R3 socket was changed with Publish 7. They now only accept Combat Ready Socket Clusters. You can use utility modules in these to make utility droids.
I hope that answers your question.

I was afraid of that. Now I need to find a use for these 200 socket clusters I have sitting here.

Horoto,
You can still use those in Surgical Droids :/ and maybe a few others.

Actually, I submitted a CSR ticket on this, and the CSR came back saying that it was a bug and thanked me for drawing their attention to it. Then they told me to submit a bug note on it.
So.....yeah. I'll be fixed by publish 1576345236051 with hope.
