Hi guys,

I'm about 3/4 of the way to Master DE and wanted to start making BLL advanced chassis for the 4200 xp. One problem: It requires 750 units of duralloy steel, and I can't find it anywhere. Is it rare? Is it just a coincidence that it isn't on any bazaar or player vendor?

I may be wrong, but I think it spawn every 6 month earthtime.

Good luck.

After watching the resources on Radiant for months, I see that Duralloy mostly is in shift once every 3-4 shifts. Don't see any particular pattern or precursors of when it will shift in, but i'm still gathering data. My suggestion is check your planet every 5 days to see if it is in shift. I would travel to one or two other planets (Naboo, talus or Tatooine) to see if it is shift there too. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

I'll second Micco. On Radiant, it's not particularly rare, as we've had regular spawns over the past few months (Same goes for Dioxis Gas). Just last night, I bought 40k of it off the bazaar for 1.5 CPU.

Another thing you'll want to do is go to www.swgcraft.com and list the current spawns for your galaxy. You can do this by individual planet or for the entire galaxy.

Aye, great idea Iygow! I always forget to mention this site. It is an invaluable asset for those who don't have the time or patience to survey every planet.

Thanks for the replies guys. Yes I did check swgcraft.com but didn't see any duralloy steel that was currently available. I thought maybe I wasn't using the search feature right, but I also figured that since I couldn't find this stuff anywhere, it must be rare at the moment (Starsider server). But if it spawns every once in a while (like every other kind does), why wouldn't I find it anywhere at all? I've found every other kind of steel, why not this?

Thanks again for the help, I'll keep an eye out.

that's interesting, we've been getting a lot of duralloy on Bria, some with awesome stats even.

Yeah, went looking for some Silicastic Ore to make some brains and noticed 10 stacks of 4k on sale for 6k each. My jaw dropped when I looked at the details and saw it was Duralloy!

Oh, and I'm one of those types that doesn't have the patience to survey every planet! ...or go resource vendor hopping, for that matter. SWGCraft.com and the bazaar are my friends. Doing galaxy-wide searches on the bazaar can turn up great deals or get you out of a jam. I give a lot of credit to effective use of the bazaar (for both buying and selling) for allowing me to make DE pay its own way.

We just got poor Dioxis on Tempest. Haven't seen Lidium Extrusive or Duralloy for a while.

How do they expect us to make decent product with crippling resources?
