Thread: Data Module wishlist request from a customer

After spending two days trying to find someone who makes data modules, I finally found a great droid - it stores 110 items. Unfortunately, I found out the hard way that I can't store waypoints in it. I understand that these modules were fixed to prevent people from storing pets and mission waypoints, but it would be nice if you could store regular waypoints in them. Since I have no schematics, the only thing I can store is my disk from the Warren .

I was really looking forward to using MSE droids to help organize my waypoints -- one for the vendors I deal with, one for my friends' houses, NPCs, harvesters, dungeons, trainers, etc. As it is, I have pretty much maxed out my datapad, and alt-tabbing out of the game to look up a waypoint on a Web site is a pain.

Anyway, don't know if anyone else has asked for this, but figured I'd raise the request since DEs are finally getting the love they deserve . With all the other modules in the works, maybe this one could be tweaked - I've yet to meet anyone who uses it, although I don't really have any hardcore crafter friends.

Compadre, I recommend you put on your flame retardant suit before somebody gets hurt. There is enough vitriol on these borads right nowto make the baby Jesus cry. We know you didn't mean it... /glancing nervously at the bloodshot eyeballs emerging from the dark. So maybe you best be on your way, knowingyour request has been duly noted.

I use my data storage as I have a heap of power-up schematics. If you have too many in your datapad when you try to install them into your factories you can't always find them as it crops the list. So for a few of us these datastorage modules come in handy.

A few of you is just the wording.

I'm a very active crafter, Artisan, Droid Engineer, Tailor and so on and so on.

I've never EVER used the datamodules to store schematics.

I know a 'few' of you use them, but should a module really be that limited so that less then 1% of the player base uses them?

It probably should be 1.1% at very least, probably slipped through their quality control system though , seriously I see your point, another useless module for the majority.

Total loss of annual revenue (SOE): ~$715US to ~$900US

Should Sony and Lucas Arts be worried? (15000 users * 5 accts = ~$13MIL in potential lost gross annual revenue) If I were the CEO for either LA or SOE, I would certainly be worried.
